The '62 Jaguar is an affordable, very nicely made, Japanese built - Fender reproduction, one of the most distinguishable guitar shapes in the Fender range.

The Fender 62 Jaguar debuted in 1962 and, like the Jazzmaster, was one of the most glamorous guitars of that period. In the mid 70s, punk-informed popsters such as Elvis Costello and Nick lowe reminded the world that those guitars were great rhythm guitars. The revival was short lived but in the 90s, a new generation saw the Jaguar as the perfect instrument. Kurt Cobain, Sonic Youth and other grunge bands used this instrument and it made a welcome return.
