Epiphone is proud to introduce the new, Slash Les Paul Classic Goldtop Outfit. This "Limited Edition" package will be hand-signed by Slash and limited to only 2,000 guitars worldwide. Designed and produced in close cooperation with Slash, this new Epiphone combines all the great design features that have made the Les Paul guitar "the" rock guitar while Slash's own personal touches create a unique instrument destined to become an instant classic.

This latest Epiphone Slash Les Paul starts with all the basic features of a LP including a solid Mahogany body with and a glued-in Mahogany neck. Standard equipment now on most Epiphone models is the new LockTone™ stopbar/tune-o-matic system that secures the bridge and tailpiece to the guitar even without strings while adding as much as 20% more sustain. Unique to the Slash LP Goldtop are features that set it apart from the rest. First, the neck joint uses a long neck tenon typically found on late-1950's Les Pauls. Extending well into the neck pickup cavity, this provides more strength, more wood-to-wood contact and ultimately, more tone and sustain.

Next, the "Slash Custom" neck profile or shape is patterned after Slash's original Les Paul and his choice of pickups are two Seymour Duncan™ Alnico Pro-II open-coil humbuckers. As with the original Les Pauls introduced in 1952, the Goldtop features the same metallic gold finish on the top with a rich brown finish on the back, sides and neck. Also included are "Slash" truss rod cover, Limited Edition logo, nickel hardware and machine heads with vintage "tulip" buttons.

In addition to the guitar, this limited edition package includes a hard case with custom Slash logo, a hand-numbered certificate of authentic hand-signed by Slash himself and a limited edition HD laser-cell print of Slash. The certificate and the laser-cell come in a leatherette presentation binder with the Slash logo embossed in gold on the cover. Also included are a custom Slash-inspired leather strap and 24 Slash picks.
